S P A C E

There is a space where people hide
It exists in a realm, of a place unknown
Depending on one's heart, how they see and perceive
The picture in it and the colors chosen in a painter's masterpiece.
This space can be open or sometimes concealed and locked
Walled with bricks and stone, impenetrable
Or sometimes wood, which may appear strong
Yet, when pushed to the limits, it breaks,seemed unreparable.
A space, a listening heart can sense
An observant soul can see,its beginning up until its horizon
Depending on one's heart condition, how far can they see and perceive
The message conveyed of the space hidden in mystery.
This space is sometimes wrapped in fancy purple paper
Or sometimes daintily tied with golden ribbon strand
Oh, how frustrating, disappointing at times,this space beautifully wrapped,
When you open, to one's suprise, it's empty and none
Oh, this space is like a shifting sand in the desert
Like a weather, good at times but can be rough and tough as ocean's gale
Oh, this space fleeting like dust in the air, flowing freely and unevenly
Like water or oil in one hand's grasp, tangible but untouchable
Each soul has a part of this space unknown
A space which can never be identical but an open heart can understand
It varies in heights and depths each one has
Depending on one's heart condition, how far can they see and perceive beyond.
